JOB DETAIL


· 15+ years of related experience and 5+ years of data modeling experience in the asset management Industry.
· Prior Asset Management experience.
· Experience working with Data modeling tools like ERWIN or similar tools.
· Proficiency in various modeling techniques (normalization, star schemas, data vault, or 3NF).
· Experience in designing an Enterprise Data Model for the Asset management industry.
· Strong skills in SQL, Spark, and Python.
· Ability to work both independently and in a team in an Agile setup.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Build and maintain logical and physical data models for the Enterprise.
· Create and maintain conceptual data models to identify key business entities and visualize their relationships.
· Develop documentation of solution design, end user training, and change management communications when required.
· Translate business needs into data models supporting strategic solutions.
· Collaborate with the Application Development team to implement data strategies, build data flows, and develop conceptual data models.
· Establish best practices for standard naming conventions and coding practices to ensure consistency in data models.
· Identify opportunities for reusing data models in new environments.
· Perform reverse engineering of physical data models from disparate databases and SQL scripts.
· Evaluate data models and physical databases for variances and discrepancies.
· Validate business data objects for accuracy and completeness.
· Develop data models in compliance with company standards.
· Conduct data profiling/analysis activities to establish, modify, and maintain data models.
· Communicate physical database designs and database features that may affect the physical data model.
· Actively engage and consult stakeholders on solving business problems through data, guiding the conversation rather than following orders.
· Analyze data-related system integration challenges and propose appropriate solutions with a strategic approach.
