11+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and data analytics, 8+ years working with Power BI & experience in a client-facing analytics role
• Proficient in the development of data visualizations and implementing high-value solutions
• Proficient in the use of Data Analytics Expressions (DAX) and Power Query
• Experience with one or more data technologies (e.g. Azure Data Warehouse, SQL Server, etc.) and a willingness to learn how to leverage these technologies to improve business intelligence
• Expert knowledge of data management, business intelligence, and analytics concepts
• Proficient with features of the Power BI Service and Power BI Premium including establishing gateway refresh schedules and row-level security and integrating them with Power BI solutions
• Expert in data manipulation and cleansing for creating datasets and data flows for self-service reporting
• Capable of maintaining, updating, and performance-tuning existing BI reports
• Possessing the ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Experience working with Agile development methodology
• Having excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities • Design and build PowerBI based reporting solutions
• Expert-level experience in Azure SQL, Power BI, DAX
• Implement row-level security and integrate with Power BI solutions
• Perform data manipulation and cleansing for creating datasets and data flows for self-service reporting
• Perform performance tuning existing BI reports
• Deploy BI reports in test environments
