Senior Power BI Engineer to assist with critical development across projects and IT initiatives. This role will also be responsible for end user support in self-service scenarios and align with our broader self-service strategy for cloud BI tools.  

Core Responsibilities:  

• Lead our front-end development efforts within our main Business Intelligence platforms - SAP Analytics Cloud and Power BI  

• Provide support and drive optimization efforts for existing suite of reports and dashboards  

• Promote our self-service initiatives by ongoing engagements and training sessions with key users.  

• Self-motivated, self-directed with strong problem-solving skills  

• Develop an understanding of business processes, data flows and strategy  

• Host and participate in development of prototype solutions to support and prove business and technology concepts  

• Collaborate with business, analytical teams, and data scientist to improve efficiency, increase the applicability of predictive models, and help translate ad-hoc analyses into scalable data delivery solutions  

Qualifications needed:  

• Data Modeling, ETL and SQL Development  

• Highly Proficient in JavaScript, M Language and DAX  

• Proficient in SQL  

• Experience developing with APIs  

• Experience developing embedded analytical applications  

• Development experience within an Agile environment
