JOB DETAIL

  • 15+ years of related experience and 5+ years of data modeling experience in the asset management Industry
  • Prior Asset Management experience
  • Experience working Data modeling tools with ERWIN or similar tool.
  • Modeling techniques (normalization, star schemas, data vault, or 3NF).
  • Experience designing an Enterprise Data Model for Asset management industry.
  • SQL, Spark, Python
  • Ready to work individually and in a team in Agile set up
  • Great communication skills
  • Build and maintain logical and physical data models for Enterprise.
  • Build and maintain conceptual data model to identify key business entities and visualize their relationships.
  • Create documentation of solution design, as well as end user training and change management communications at times.
  • Understand and translate business needs into data models supporting strategic solutions.
  • Work with the Application Development team to implement data strategies, build data flows and develop conceptual data models.
  • Develop best practices for standard naming conventions and coding practices to ensure consistency of data models.
  • Recommend opportunities for reuse of data models in new environments.
  • Perform reverse engineering of physical data models from disparate databases and SQL scripts.
  • Evaluate data models and physical databases for variances and discrepancies.
  • Validate business data objects for accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop data models according to company standards.
  • Perform data profiling/analysis activities that help to establish, modify and maintain data models.
  • Communicate physical database designs and dba and explain features that may affect the physical data model.
  • Regularly engage and consult stakeholders on solving business problems through data, guiding the conversation rather than following orders.
  • Analyze data-related system integration challenges and propose appropriate solutions with a strategic approach.
