- 15+ years of related experience and 5+ years of data modeling experience in the asset management Industry
- Prior Asset Management experience
- Experience working Data modeling tools with ERWIN or similar tool.
- Modeling techniques (normalization, star schemas, data vault, or 3NF).
- Experience designing an Enterprise Data Model for Asset management industry.
- SQL, Spark, Python
- Ready to work individually and in a team in Agile set up
- Great communication skills
- Build and maintain logical and physical data models for Enterprise.
- Build and maintain conceptual data model to identify key business entities and visualize their relationships.
- Create documentation of solution design, as well as end user training and change management communications at times.
- Understand and translate business needs into data models supporting strategic solutions.
- Work with the Application Development team to implement data strategies, build data flows and develop conceptual data models.
- Develop best practices for standard naming conventions and coding practices to ensure consistency of data models.
- Recommend opportunities for reuse of data models in new environments.
- Perform reverse engineering of physical data models from disparate databases and SQL scripts.
- Evaluate data models and physical databases for variances and discrepancies.
- Validate business data objects for accuracy and completeness.
- Develop data models according to company standards.
- Perform data profiling/analysis activities that help to establish, modify and maintain data models.
- Communicate physical database designs and dba and explain features that may affect the physical data model.
- Regularly engage and consult stakeholders on solving business problems through data, guiding the conversation rather than following orders.
- Analyze data-related system integration challenges and propose appropriate solutions with a strategic approach.
