Responsibilities:

•             Interacted with Business and Internal Users to gather the requirements and transformed them into Technical Specifications and Table Design documents. 

•             Worked on STARS Medicaid and Medicare Health related data and has exposure to CPT, PROC, HCPCS, ICD9, ICD10 and NDC codes.  

•             Created and developed Database Objects such as Tables, Indexes, Views, Stored Procedures, Functions and Triggers using SSMS-2019

•             Created Indexes on the columns recommended by Query Optimizer to improve the Performance of the slow running queries and Stored Procedures.

•             Used SQL Server Profiler for troubleshooting, monitoring, and optimization of Stored Procedures

•             Created complex Teradata SQL’s to migrate the data from Teradata to SQL Server 

•             Converted SSIS-2008R2 packages to SSIS-2019 by upgrading version numbers, Connection Strings and Datatypes

 

Responsibilities:

•             Worked with business users to gather Texas Medicaid START KIDS program requirements

•             Created Technical Specification for ETL Development and Testing Scenarios

•             Documented the works flows and created SOP’s for each project   

•             Worked on various “P” files (P82, P97, P84 etc.) extracts using SSIS packages and Stored Procedures

•             Worked extensively on Medical Claims using Trizetto QNXT and CCA applications

•             Created various Database Objects like Tables, Views, Stored Procedures including Databases to support Member Eligibility and Medical Claims

•             Implemented Check Constraints, Indexes, and Inserted Deleted Triggers to maintain Referential Integrity

•             Used all Table Joins, Correlated and Non-Correlated sub queries for complex Stored Procedures involving several tables from various Databases

•             Used SQL Server Profiler to trace the Defects, to view the Indexes performance and to avoid the table scans

•             Extensively worked on Performance Tuning of the Stored Procedures and SSIS packages

•             Created SSIS packages to load CPT, NDC, Note Codes, HCPCS and other Code Sets to QNXT and CCA Databases

•             Worked on Partitioning of SSAS Cube 

•             Worked on FTP jobs to send the Outbound extract files to various vendors (HeathX, Navitus, HMS etc.)

•             Created and Scheduled CISCO TIDAL Jobs for Providers, Member Eligibilities, Medical Claims extracts

 

•             Managed various EDI files, such as 837, 834, 835, 270, and 271.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

•             Bachelor's degree diploma in computer science or software engineering or equivalent experience

•             Proficient in C#.NET, MS SQL, SSIS
