As a Hyperion Planning System Consultant, you will be located in Sunnyvale, California for an initial onsite engagement. You will play a crucial role in maintaining, enhancing, and providing support for the Hyperion financial planning database utilized for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Your expertise will optimize Hyperion capabilities and contribute to the evolution of existing Hyperion modeling and structure.
Responsibilities:
Maintain, enhance, and provide support for the Hyperion financial planning database to ensure its efficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Evolve existing Hyperion modeling and structures to align with present and future requirements.
Execute performance tuning, upgrading, server maintenance, backup planning, security administration, and migration tasks.
Offer support to the Hyperion user community, addressing their needs promptly.
Provide production support for existing applications, prioritizing responsiveness and work quality.
Exhibit effective communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to identify, communicate, and resolve system issues, thereby maximizing IT system benefits.
Analyze current business processes and requests, recommending system solutions in line with best practices and standards.
Conduct in-depth analysis of system specifications and configurations, creating appropriate documentation.
Design solutions, define requirements, create functional designs, conduct testing, and implement IT solutions.
Assist, support, and train users on modified system configurations, emphasizing the impact on business processes.
