JOB DETAIL

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant professional implementation, administration, and configuration experience with ServiceNow
  • Minimum 3 years of development experience with ServiceNow and a strong understanding of ServiceNow development best practice
  • Minimum of 3 years of JavaScript experience
  • Extensive knowledge of the ServiceNow platform as well as technologies such as JavaScript, Web services, HTML/CSS, MYSQL, and SQL. 
  • Proficient in the development of web services (and the associated security patterns) including but not limited to JSON, SOAP and XML
  • A strong understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Proficient in all areas of ServiceNow development and configuration, including but not limited to Business Rules, Flows, workflows, ACLs, Script Includes, UI Scripts, Client Scripts, UI Pages, UI Macros, UI Actions, Catalog Items, and UI Policies
  • Proficient in configuring application related fields, forms, views, email notifications, acceptance roles and access controls
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow application(s) with third party systems/applications via APIs and ServiceNow’s Integration Hub
  • Proficient in configuring out-of-the box workflows and the development of custom workflows, custom web services, custom notifications, assessments, and custom apps
  • Experience developing on the ServiceNow platform including the creation and/or customization of the core modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, CMDB, Service Request, APM, Demand, and Service Catalog
  • Strong knowledge of the ServiceNow data model and relationships, CMDB, and CSDM
  • Experience with system/process automation using ServiceNow Orchestration, Workflows, and Integrations
  • Certification in ServiceNow Administration, Implementation, or Application Developer required
  • Ability to understand and translate business requirements to solutions and skilled in problem solving
  • Detailed understanding of ITIL best-practice framework (foundational cert required)
