SAS developer with 6+ years of experience will be responsible for rewriting existing SAS code in support of a project migrating on-prem data to the cloud.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Convert existing SAS Enterprise Guide projects with "Query Builder and or SAS code to use new Azure source tables and fields based off a mapping document
- Test old SAS Enterprise Guide project output against the newly modified project output
- Document test cases and test results and present results to the project team
Required skills:
- 6+ years of experience using SAS Enterprise Guide
- Ability to understand Base SAS code
- Advanced SQL skills
- Able to work independently and execute conversions based on a prioritized project list
- Familiarity with Teradata and SQL Server
- Promptly raise up conversion issues
- Able to effectively collaborate with the project team
- Strong communication skills
- Experience partnering directly with business users
- Azure Cloud platform knowledge
- Experience working in an agile environment a plus
