The Innovation and Technology Department (ITD) of the County of San Bernardino is seeking a motivated contract Programmer Analyst. The candidate will participate in systems analysis, application architecture, systems design and development, database design, and applications programming. Contractor will be assigned to the ITD’s Human Capital Management (EMACS) team to partner with Human Resources and to support and maintain its Human Capital Management (HCM) system.

The position requires experience with PeopleSoft suite of development products (Application Designer, SQR, Application Engine, SQL etc.) and familiarity with all phases of the SDLC.  The candidate will analyze and resolve production system problems and monitor production systems to ensure correct and efficient operation. Candidates should possess excellent problem solving, organizational and communication skills, and keep abreast with emerging technologies.
