OVERVIEW:
- We are seeking a Data Specialist with experience in Guidewire application and Data.
- The ideal candidate should be able to interpret Guidewire data, analyze results, design, and document base queries from Guidewire tables.
- These solutions will support business intelligence data marts for operational, financial, actuarial, regulatory, analytics other P&C insurance business interests.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will:
- Interpret Guidewire tables, analyze results using statistical techniques.
- Develop and implement base queries and data collection systems with efficiency and quality.
- Acquire data from multiple data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
- Hands-on modeling, design, configuration, installation, performance tuning, and sandbox POC.
- Work proactively and independently to address project requirements and articulate issues/challenges to reduce project delivery risks.
SKILLS
- Guidewire Certified Specialist
- Proven working experience as a Data Analyst with experience in Guidewire database.
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc.), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
- Hands-on relational, dimensional, and/or analytic experience (using RDBMS, dimensional, Snowflake, and DBT or other ETL and data ingestion protocols)
- Good knowledge of metadata management, data modeling, and related tools
- Experience in communication and presentation
