JOB DETAIL

Position Overview:
• Technical and functional analysis of platforms/applications and documentation of current state and to-be state
• Extensive coordination and collaboration for gathering requirements and technical details with key stakeholder across different teams (development, architecture, QA and SMEs)
• Robust management and complete ownership of design documentation entailing functional specifications, technical & functional process flows, technical architecture, technical sequence and data flow, integration specifications
• Communicate effectively - both verbally and written - to peers, business and technology partners to include strong questioning and listening skills and the ability to look beyond obvious answers to understand impacts.
• – Interview business/other solution management counterparts to effectively draw out and articulate the business need/problem/ opportunity to be addressed. Provide scaled options for implementation based on the business need.
• – Gather and analyze requirements. Organize and document business needs to enable design and development, including elicitation and documentation of current state and future state workflows, user stories, acceptance criteria, data mapping and UI wireframes.
• – Elicit and document processes and procedures, as well as partner in preparing training and adoption materials
• – Lead and influence cross-functional teams.
• Extensive follow-ups and proactive communications with team members to get the required details for ensuring on-time deliveries
• Developing technical solutions to business problems and requirements begins with defining, analyzing and documenting requirements. Managing requirements at the project level can help fulfill business needs
• Build out of a knowledge repository detailing the entire business solution architecture and application ecosystem
• Working in the GenAi CoE to set guardrails , policy, procedures.
• Working on Gen Ai use cases, possibilities and implementations

Required:
• 10+ years of demonstrated experience in a large complex banking organization or major consulting firm acting as a Sr. Business analyst or product owner capacity.
• Domain and system knowledge to turn customer needs into business requirements and technology business outcomes.
• Competent and experienced in technology environments (e.g., platforms, applications, databases, organizational structure and culture, teams involved in the successful completion of technology initiatives, etc.).
• Effective partner management skills, expertise in facing senior business partners and ability to engage with functional specialists from other departments of the bank.
• Thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
SQL experience in data analysis and Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills

Experience with working in an Agile squad/chapter setup. Practiced understanding of Agile development methodologies and understanding of DevOps Integration
• Strong familiarity with Agile software/tools (e.g., JIRA) and DevOps processes and tools (e.g. Jenkins and TeamCity).
• Effective time management, Ability to work under pressure with different moving parts and deliver to tight deadlines
• Proficient with MS Office applications: Excel, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint and usage of sharepoint, JIRA , etc.
• Effective listener, speaker, reader and writer - able to bridge business and technical domains, promote best practices, and enforce good governance within challenging timelines

Educational Qualification:

10+ years of experience working as Technical Business Analyst
• Knowledge of BFSI domain and Wealth Management business
• Minimum BE/BTech degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering or a related field., Information Management or other relevant field

• Primary skills
o Knowledge of Wealth Management business and Client Onboarding & Account opening
o Understanding of chatbots/ LLM/ML
o Experience in creating and working on policy , procedures, guardrails or CoE would be beneficial
o Understanding of design documentation – Functional & Non-Functional specifications, Technical Architecture, Process flows, Technical and Data sequence flows, Integration specifications
o Experience in participating Production Support and Triaging discussions and ability to analyze the incidents/defects to identify failure/improvement areas
o Experience in MS office, MS Visio, SharePoint, Jira,
o Good understanding of technology stack and N-tier architecture, UX, UI, APIs/Web services, business workflow, MQ, database, SQL’s and batch processing
o Understand business objectives. Working with users to formulate business & system requirements.
o Identifying, investigating, and analyzing business processes, procedures and work practices.
o Identifying and evaluating inefficiencies and recommending optimal business practices, and system functionality and behavior
o Good understand of synchronous, asynchronous business workflow and processing.
o Experience in agile, for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating agile project teams. Achieve a high level of performance and quality and deliver agile projects that provide exceptional business value to users. Good in user story writing and grouping
o Good verbal communication skills and presentation skills.
