Demonstrate advanced fluency in PHP website programming, database CRUD methodology (Oracle DB desired), HTML, Javascript, CSS, debugging, web design, SOAP web services (REST web services knowledge is a bonus).

Additional knowledge of Java development is a bonus.

The candidate must demonstrate the ability to work with a team, have good communication skills and possess a positive attitude.

The candidate must show enthusiasm for technology, and be able to work well in a fast paced environment.

The candidate must demonstrate self motivation and independent work strategies, and be able to prioritize effectively.

Knowledge of GIT Hub cloud and Atlassian JIRA applications is required.

Duties

The candidate will write PHP, CSS, Javascript, HTML and design websites that support the company business.

This person will be responsible for maintaining/improving existing websites as well as developing new applications for websites.

The candidate must demonstrate good documentation skills both for external user consumption, and good documentation with the code base.

The candidate will be required to deploy during non-business hours.

Additional job description:

·         A front end developer/engineer is in charge of managing complex details about projects that require analyzing design requirements, as well as recommending technical solutions to make projects scalable, maintainable, and efficient.

·         They also debug websites to fix mistakes in the code to make sure they are error-free for network administrators and end users.

·         Besides analyzing code and debugging applications, they also should have working knowledge of several programming languages and able to adapt to new versions of software.

·         They also should be proficient in using Office applications, and have advanced knowledge in databases and networks.

·         In addition, a bachelor's degree in information technology is needed to become a front end developer/engineer.

·         Additional certifications such as the SUN, IBM, Microsoft, and Oracle developer certifications can provide advantages over other applicants.
