JOB DETAIL

  • What you’ll do:

  • Develop test plans and test cases based on reading and understanding business and functional requirements
  • Analyze and identify defects during the testing and bug during the pre-production & production  phases of the software delivery lifecycle;
  • Follow the defect management process in JIRA and ensure all bugs/defects are addressed before the code get released into Pre and production environments
  • Provide bug report (with screenshots)  to project team members and responding to inquiries regarding errors or questions about data or database
  • Interact with architects, technical leads, business analysis & other team members  as required to address technical and schedule issues.
  • Suggest and implement process improvements in testing processes
  • Coordinate with offshore team , delegate tickets , review and support team members to resolve all open issues
  • Work closely with Business analysts during UAT

    What you bring to the table:

  • Passionate QA engineer with 5 to 7 years’ experience working in both Application Development and Application maintenance
  • Minimum of 5 years prior work experience working with SQL Server & Informatica ( latest version) and  must demonstrate experience delivering projects from inception through implementation
  • Proficiency  with executing test cases manually or any other tools like HP, Selenium, Test rail, Zephyr, etc 
  • Proficiency in functional, validation, End to End, and Regression testing
  • Experience in  DDL, DML, Procedures, functions, triggers, views, etc
  • Experience in analysis and executing workflows, sessions  in Informatica Power center
  • Understanding dynamic queries is a plus.
  • Understanding and or experience in Cloud databases like Snowflake, and Azure SQL is  plus.
  • Understanding and or experience in streaming tools like KAFKA is  plus
  • Experience in Agile processes and agile tools like JIRA, Rally
  • Knowledge  in Source code tool like  Bit bucket repository and deployment tools like TeamCity/Octopus
