JOB DETAIL

As a Principal Consultant, you will anchor the engagement effort for assignments, all the way from business process consulting and problem definition to solution design, development and deployment.  You will be pivotal to problem definition and discovery of the overall solution and guide teams on project processes, deliverables.  As a thought leader in your domain, you will be the key advisor to architecture and design reviews. You will anchor business pursuit initiatives, client training, in-house capability building.  You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape. 

Qualifications
Basic
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution required. Will also consider three years of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education
At least 12 years of experience with Information Technology.

Preferred
At least 12 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration
Minimum 4 end to end SAP Basis implementation full life cycle
Responsible for providing advanced SAP Basis technical expertise and leadership in the development and implementation of SAP solutions to support Company’s business 
Thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs. Participate in managing a complex landscape consisting of dedicated Global and Regional SAP systems
In-depth knowledge of technology stack for SAP Enterprise Core Component (ECC), Business Intelligence (BI), WebSAPConsole, Enterprise Portal (EP), SAP HANA, S/4 HANA, SLD, Process Integration (XI), SAP CRM, SAP SRM, SAP SUS, SRM MDM, Supplier Portal, Web Dispatcher, cFolders Content Server, CUA, SAP JVM and Solution Manager
Experience with creation and evolution of the SAP technology roadmap that defines current technical architectures, future architectures, and the evolution for transition for all projects
Analyzing the impact of the proposed technical solutions. Assist in creating and modifying strategies, resolve problems and document issues and resolutions
Serve as a subject matter expert & focal point for architectural frameworks
Strong understanding of all phases of systems implementation and the software development life cycle
Ability to clearly communicate technology issues, plans and solutions from both a business perspective and a technical perspective providing pros and cons for recommended solutions
Understanding methodologies and their interaction with other business processes / applications
Project planning and preparation of Project objectives, scope and estimates 
Presales, proposal writing, client presentation
Steering initiatives towards achievement of organizational goals with chief responsibilities pertaining to Project Execution, Process Enhancements, Training & Development, Architect & deliver solutions, Define quality controls and change management processes 
Managing & leading teams for running successful Service Delivery & Process Operations and experience of implementing procedures, service standards for business excellence 
Hands on experience in SAP BASIS tasks such as Designing & Implementing Landscape and Infrastructure, Client Strategy, Capacity Planning (Sizing), High-Availability & Disaster Recovery setup, Backup & Recovery Strategy, Storage systems, SAP Upgrades, OS/DB Migration, presales, Solutioning and Basis Administration
Install, configure, maintain, and support multiple SAP landscapes and 3rd party tools
Well versed with the entire business suite of SAP
Experience in Net Weaver Enhancement Package latest versions 
Monitor and maintain SAP systems environments for optimum performance and be proactive in identifying potential problems (environments include Sandbox, Development, QA and Production). Perform core Basis functions (e.g., corrections, support packs, kernels, transports)
Experience of working with global delivery models including offshore and multi-cultural teams
Demonstrated thought leadership through business papers, white papers, case studies etc.
Good interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team

Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel
