The agency has a series of funded, modernization initiatives aimed at modernizing the Dept. of Motor Vehicles systems. The Department of Motor Vehicles requires assistance with System Modernization project that involves .NET and Cold Fusion development.
Duties
- Remediate and enhance web applications to ensure they adhere to WCAG 2.0 AA web accessibility standard.
- Development and/or analysis of components, batch processes, web services, and web applications as required by needs of various projects within the DMV modernization program.
- Analysis of existing systems, applications, or processes; they will be required to create the necessary documentation as specified in project requirements or by management.
- System analysis and design - design of web forms and reusable/shared web components - creation of business logic components and methods
- Project planning and documentation relative to the business rules
- Remediate any bugs or problems found in testing
- Creation of a comprehensive help document for users as a reference and training guide
- Development of post-production knowledge transfer documentation/support plans
- Performing self-assessment of accessibility compliance and remediating and researching issues found by accessibility auditors
- Creation of detailed unit and system test plans
- Development of user acceptance process
Mandatory Requirements
- Experience (8+ Years)
- Creates computer software. May specialize in one area of computer software or may write code for many kinds of software.
Requirements
- This is an 100% Onsite
- 72 months experience coding ColdFusion
- 72 months experience coding with HTML, CSS, and jQuery/JavaScript
- 60 months experience in developing Responsive Web Design (RWD) applications and using Front-End Web UI Frameworks (including Bootstrap)
- 60 months experience using source code controllers (including TFS and GIT)
- 60 months experience coding .NET and Unit Tests
- 18 months experience Developing to Web Accessibility Standards (specifically Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 AA)
