Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Participate in Agile teams
  2. Complete peer code reviews for quality and consistency
  3. Identify and apply best practices to coding and testing
  4. Mentor in coding best practices, configuration best practices, technical design and quality assurance
  5. Drive the development of business and technical process documentation and training materials
  6. Drive the collection of required information to develop work scope around solutions to attain business requirements along with data needs as required.
  7. Research/troubleshoot, maintain & configure software, create test scripts and test applications and interfaces
  8. Recommend opportunities to lower testing costs or improve systems quality through alternative staffing models (e.g., gig, offshore, 3rd party)
  9. Maintain a working knowledge of Software Code Development leading practices and serve as a thought leader to the organization
  10. Report coding progress and outcomes
  11. Coordinate the work of other developers
  12. Drive the collection of required information to develop work scope around solutions to attain business requirements along with data needs as required.
  13. Collect and evaluate information, formulate as well as test hypothesis.
  14. Drive technical validity of solution.
  15. Mentor and coach others
  16. Coordinate issues resolution activities with varied stakeholders
  17. Review entire problem logs and identify recurring problems.
  18. Record projects status along with open issues every week.
  19. Ensure to follow up on problems and process independently related to solutions engineering.
  20. Participate in seminars, trade shows, and oversee internal demonstration facilities etc. Develop meeting structure and present at meetings
  21. Assess situations, determine the problem(s) and propose a solution that provides value to the business
  22. Perform code review to see whether standards are adhered to
  23. Drive business requirements as well-formed user stories and acceptance criteria
  24. Understand, communicate, and reinforce business process concepts
  25. Establish and maintain relationships with team members within IT and across functional teams
  26. Assess situations, determine the problem(s) and propose a solution that provides value to the business
  27. Meeting with the design team to review website and application requirements.
  28. Setting tasks and development goals.
  29. Configuring the company SharePoint systems to specified requirements.
  30. Developing new web components using XML, .NET, SQL, and C#.
  31. Designing, coding, and implementing scalable applications.
  32. Extending SharePoint functionality with forms, web parts, and application technologies.
  33. Testing and debugging code.
  34. Reviewing website interface and software stability.
  35. Troubleshooting software issues.
  36. Maintaining and updating SharePoint applications.
  37. Providing systems training to staff and customers
