The role of the Data Warehouse Modeler is to develop, implement, and maintain enterprise Data Models in support of Capital One's Data Strategy.
The Data Warehouse Modeler, as part of the Data Standardization team, will be responsible for working collaboratively across to develop Data Models in support of Enterprise initiatives.

Contribute to data integration and mapping efforts to harmonize data Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in information science, computer science, engineering
At least 2 years’ experience in a metadata field of work or a masters’ degree
At least 2 years hands-on experience in Data Modeling (Conceptual, Logical and Physical)
At least 2 years of experience in Entity Modeling tools (Erwin, ERStudio, Hackolade, PowerDesigner, Enterprise Architect etc)
At least 2 years’ experience or training with SQL or SPARQL

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the Financial Services industry
Understanding of the development of ontologies and the use of controlled vocabularies and thesauri in enhancing the discovery of management of enterprise data
Familiarity with graph databases and technologies
Familiarity with Python or R
Familiarity with SQL
Familiarity with JSON, OpenAPI/YAML, AVRO
Familiarity with Agile principles, processes, and methodologies
Familiarity with Amazon Web Services
