This candidate will take on two responsibilities -

• A technical SME to engage with Compliance, to expand Trade Surveillance requirements. This candidate will act as a business analyst and subject matter expert on the project, analyze the requirements, liaison with stakeholders and partner with development team. The candidate will need good communication skills paired with technical skills in order to successfully execute this work.

• Assistant to manager for department admin work

Key Responsibilities

- Take in operational tasks to assist manager on department management

- Partner with the business to help translate high-level business requirements into detailed functional, testable specifications.

- Work as a member of an Agile squad in the development of surveillance controls

- Work as a liaison between business unit and delivery team in all phases of development from product definition to deployment

- Perform feasibility analysis, scope projects, prioritize deliverables, recommend alternative solutions and project strategies, and engage in negotiations.

- Act as SME to business working with them on system and data questions

- Write BDD cases that can be used to streamline QA and UAT processes

Skills required:

- Strong Office Software skills, like PowerPoint, Word, Excel

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field OR Bachelors degree in a business/finance related field with technical experience required

- Strong SQL and Data Analysis knowledge is a must; Knowledge of Java, Scala or Python is preferred.

- Good understanding of Agile Scrum SDLC concepts.

- At least 3-5 years of experience with software development projects

- Relevant work experience with business requirements definition and management (end to end), structured analysis, process design, and use case documentation

- Good analytical and problem solving skills

- Good communication skills both verbal and written

- Effective collaborator across a variety of IT and Business groups, regions, roles and levels
