As an SAP ABAP + Basis + S/4HANA ABAP Consultant Candidate will be responsible for:
1. ABAP + Basis Development:
- Developing and customizing SAP applications using ABAP programming language.
- Enhancing and maintaining existing ABAP programs and reports.
- Creating and modifying SAP Smart Forms and Adobe Forms for printing.
- Developing Hanaviews , SAC Dashboards
- Knowledge and ability to drive Basis + ABAP related topics
- Zebra printer and configuring the same.
- Barcode Label Printing: Zebra printers are frequently used to print barcode labels for tracking products, inventory, and assets. These labels are used in retail, manufacturing, logistics, and healthcare for efficient identification and inventory management.
- Shipping and Logistics: Zebra printers are a staple in shipping and logistics operations. They print shipping labels with barcodes, addresses, and tracking information, making it easy to process and track packages accurately.
- Retail Shelf Labeling: In retail stores, Zebra printers are used to create price tags, shelf labels, and product labels. This simplifies pricing updates and inventory management.
- Experience in EHP8 along with System Upgrades and Patch Management
- Able to resolve SPAU SPDD related issues.
- Able to analyze and manage SCMON along with the ability to analyze used & unused Objects
- Planning and executing SAP system upgrades, support package installations, and patches.
- Managing system landscapes to keep them up to date with the latest SAP releases.
2. Fiori Application Development:
- Designing and developing SAP Fiori applications, including UI5 and Fiori Elements apps.
- Ensuring a responsive and user-friendly user interface for SAP applications.
3. S/4HANA Migration and Optimization:
- Supporting S/4HANA migration projects by adapting and optimizing existing ABAP code for compatibility.
- Collaborating with the functional team to implement S/4HANA-specific features and enhancements.
4. Integration and Data Migration:
- Integrating SAP systems with third-party applications and external data sources.
- Participating in data migration activities during SAP system implementations or upgrades.
5. Performance Tuning:
- Identifying and resolving performance issues within ABAP programs.
- Optimizing code to ensure efficient system performance in an S/4HANA environment.
6. Support and Troubleshooting:
- Providing support for SAP systems, including analyzing and resolving technical issues.
- Collaborating with end-users and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
7. Documentation:
- Documenting ABAP code, development processes, and solutions for knowledge sharing and reference.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- SAP certifications in ABAP and Fiori are highly desirable.
- Proven experience (13+ years) as an SAP ABAP Consultant, with hands-on experience in Fiori and S/4HANA ABAP.
- Strong programming skills in ABAP, Fiori/UI5, and SAP HANA along with Basis Integration issues
- Knowledge of SAP development tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience with SAP Fiori app development and design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
