- Design, develop, and customize Pega applications based on business requirements.
- Implement Pega best practices and design principles for application development.
- Create Docker containers for Pega applications and related components.
- Utilize Kubernetes-based platforms like Openshift for container orchestration.
- Define and manage containerization strategies and configurations.
- Deploy Pega applications within containerized environments.
- Implement auto-scaling and load-balancing solutions to ensure optimal performance.
- Integrate Pega applications with other systems and APIs using appropriate protocols and technologies.
- Implement security measures and compliance standards within containerized Pega environments.
- Ensure data protection and access controls are in place.
- Set up monitoring tools and processes to track application performance and container health.
- Identify and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Create technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and best practices.
- Provide training and support to team members on Pega, Docker, and Openshift.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, DevOps engineers, and business analysts, to achieve project goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) or Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.
