Roles and Responsibilities:
- Understanding the Business requirement with help of FSD & discussions with Functional team
- Responsible for converting Manual test cases to UFT Automation scripts
- Should able to do the VB scripting as a part of UFT script development
- Able to do the Automation Framework design and Script design considering the functional aspects of the application data flow
- Understanding the existing framework and development of UFT automation scripts
- Responsible for execution and maintenance of existing UFT Automation scripts
- Tester should be able to execute functional testcase manually and take manual execution backup
- Enhancing existing automation script for Functionality & object property changes
- Should able to Execute the Regression Suit for Monthly releases and report analysis. Validating failures, logging & tracking Defects in tracking tool.
- Should able to Support and mentor the functional team members on UFT Automation scripts, Data Setup and Script execution processes.
- Daily and Weekly status reporting to Client Managers.
