Job Description/ Responsibilities

• Experience in Database Administration in SQL Server (2012,2014, 2016, 2017)
• Experience in Database Deployement and Transformation in Public Cloud (Azure / AWS / Google)
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues, security issues etc.
• Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• Ability to detect and troubleshoot SQL Server related CPU, memory, I/O, disk space and other resource contention
• Good knowledge of backups, restores, recovery models, database shrink operations, DBCC commands, Clustering, Database mirroring, Replication, Always ON
• Strong knowledge of indexes, index management, integrity checks, Database Encryption, configuration, patching.
• Knowledge of SQL Server tools ( Profiler, DTA, SSMS, SSCM, PerfMon, DMVs)
• Documentation skills for processes and procedures ( creating KBs, run books, topology etc )
• SQL Database Operational support to tech users"

• Manage differnet versions of PostgreSQL databases and collobrate with our customers.
• Should have strong hands on exeperience on EDB postgres as well
• Perform Architecural health checks and suggest optimizations and design changes through a detailed summary
• Should Perform backup, restore, pointin time recovery.
• Should design and create databaes, user & roles manangment.
• High availabilty solutions on postgres.
• Upgrade and migrate postgres databases to clould and between cloud platrforms.
• Resolving performance issues on time.
• Flexible in managing postgress databases on cloud platforms"
