JOB DETAIL

Technical Manager role typically involves managing a set of programming teams and Vendor teams. It involves managing a set of teams that work together in sprint development and delivery and managing a Front end/Backend/QA/DevOps.

 

Responsible for the commitments of your team in terms of time, effort and quality of work. Also responsible for their performance evaluation of your team leads/team members. Expected to work collaboratively with your peers onsite and offshore to deliver milestone/sprint based deliverables.

 

  • Act as a single point of contact for our customers for their milestones/scrum tasks
  • Understand and propose relevant solutions/improvements for the customer engagement
  • Ensure milestone commitments, process compliance, Governance & risk management throughout the program
  • Knowledge of current technological trends in the S/W development industry, such as OOPs, Multi-Tier S/W development, Component Architecture, Web Based S/W
  • Actively participate in the discussions and meetings to comprehend and understand your scope of work and deliver as per the estimates/commitments
  • Proactively reach out to others when you need assistance
  • Manage the project and vendor team members in understanding their estimates, monitoring their quality of work and ensuring as a team you meet the project deadlines
  • Actively guide the team members and support as needed
  • Active staff the team, anticipate capacity needs and plan and work across cross functional teams of the organization.
  • Primary day-to-day management interface to Third-party stakeholders in the implementation
