JOB DETAIL

1. Must have experience writing/developing test automation in Webdriver IO with either Typescript or JavaScript

2. Would like for them to have experience with APPIUM (open-source framework that allows QAs to conduct automated app testing on different platforms like Android, IOS and Windows

3. Must have experience writing test automation for applications that are built using behavior-driven development (AKA BDD) in Cucumber using Gherkin language.

4. Minimum 2-5 years for an Automation developer II and

5. Minimum 5+ years for an Automation Developer III.

6. 5 + years of experience

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for designing and developing automated test scripts to support application testing.

The automation developer performs analysis of manual test cases and functional requirements and determines the balance of test coverage to be automated for reuse.

This person gathers information from the project team, designs, develops, unit tests, debugs, executes automated test cases and prepares reports.

The automation developer will document results and facilitate review meetings with project team stakeholders.

The automation developer actively looks for solutions to automate test cases early in the test life cycle and works on projects of high complexity within one or more test/development environments.

This person works on multiple programs/systems/applications as a project team member and/or lead.

The automation developer is considered a subject matter expert in the area of test case automation.

This individual is not writing QA Automation from scratch, as they already have it in place they will be maintaining what is already in place. They are part of a team who is managing Three Spectrum Portals (Spectrum.com, Spectrumbusiness.net and My Spectrum App)

The second major project is the technology shift as they are doing away with Xamarin to Ionic Angular based. This is a major technology upgrade project they will be involved in.
