Position Overview:

8+ years experience …..We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer with a specialization in SAP Data Services to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in ETL/ELT processes, PL/SQL, and Python. Responsible for managing SAP Data Service migrations, maintaining and updating existing ETL and integration jobs, and collaborating with functional teams to bridge solution gaps. A deep understanding of various databases and hands-on experience with SAP Data Services is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate and oversee the migration processes related to SAP Data Services.
2. Maintain and optimize existing ETL and integration jobs to ensure seamless data transfer.
3. Collaborate closely with functional counterparts to discuss, design, and develop solutions for identified gaps.
4. Draft and refine build instructions; work hand-in-hand with the Configuration Management team for deployment in an On-Demand environment.
5. Aid in the creation, review, and approval cycles of technical specifications for RICE (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, and Extensions) teams.
6. Perform rigorous code reviews to ensure best practices and standards are adhered to.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
8. Engage in unit testing; support functional SIT (System Integration Testing) of custom objects and assist in defect resolution.
9. Oversee UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and manage production cutover tasks to ensure smooth transition and minimal business disruption.
10. Stay updated with the latest trends in database management, ETL/ELT processes, and SAP Data Services.
Qualifications:

8+ Years of experience in SAP Data Services Development and Migration and ETL/ELT processes and tools.
Strong proficiency in PL/SQL and Python.
Demonstrated expertise in SAP Data Services, both in design and development of jobs.
Knowledge of various databases and their intricacies.
Proven track record of troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Desirable:
Previous experience in an On-Demand environment deployment.
Certification in SAP Data Services.
