- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably with a focus on GCP.
- Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Networking, etc.
- Experience with automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of networking principles and security best practices in a cloud environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Google Cloud Platform Certification (e.g., Google Certified Professional - Cloud DevOps Engineer).
- Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code concepts and tools.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack).
- Previous experience in a high-traffic, production environment.
