The work involves scoping out and implementing future network optimization projects to improve customer experience on our client's global Wi-Fi network. We’re seeking an experienced technical Principal Java Engineer to help design and develop the next generation of products 

Required Skills:

Code development in a modern development language - GoLang, Scala preferred

Knowledge of Java and JVM based languages

Knowledge of Apache Kafka, Spark, MQTT or similar technologies.

Linux internals and development in Linux based systems

AWS Architecture experience required.

Highly recommended skills:

Understand 802.11 standards for WiFi

Willingness to learn new technologies

Familiarly with modern databases, especially NOSQL DBs

Excellent communications skills and ability to work with senior leadership

Work with global teams
