Experience as a data warehouse architect, including cloud SaaS solutions
Proficient in data modeling, database design, and the use of ETL tools.
Experience working with multiple database platforms, such as SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, DB2, Netezza, and IMS DB.
Proficient in programming languages, such as SQL, PL/SQL, Java, Python, Cobol, and JCL.
Understanding of data governance policies, procedures, and standards, including those for security
Understanding of APIs and other integration technologies
Experience with business intelligence and reporting platforms
Understanding of machine learning and predictive analytics.
Familiar with DevOps best practices and automation, including building, configuration, documentation, testing and monitoring
Excellent written and spoken communications skills and active listening skills
Strong team-building skills
Experience working with senior management, business owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements
Experience working with a vendor, especially one who is hosting a cloud SaaS data warehouse
Experience with data quality assessment and improvement techniques
Experience as a solutions architect
Experience with Healthcare IT and related data standards (HIPPA, etc.)
Experience with migration of on-premise data warehouse to a cloud platform
Data warehouse architect certification
Experience using agile project delivery methods
