Job Responsibilities:
We're looking for a skilled & knowledgeable database engineer in MSSQL. Willing to work in a fast-paced environment in the Healthcare industry. Will be part of a team focused on design, development, implementation and support of complex integration maps and stored procedures for the healthcare industry.

• Design database schema/model and data flow
• Develop, modify and maintain data object scripts (DDL)
• Design and implement a business process into functional and efficient code
• Administering, Managing and Tuning databases
• Develop, design, tune and maintain ETL processes
• Provide production support to Operation Team

Job Requirements:
Critical Skills & Knowledge:
• 5+ years of experience with programming in MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle
• Good understanding of data and schema standards and concepts
• Good knowledge in query optimization and performance tuning techniques
• Good understanding of database design, implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance
• An ability to understand the product requirements and problem-solving attitude
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skill

Additional Skills & Knowledge:
• Any experience in WTX/ITX (Sterling IBM Transformation extender) is a big plus

• Familiar with AWS RDS, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Aurora, Redshift, DynamoDB
• Familiar with object-oriented programming languages like JAVA, .NET
• Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS
• Experience with ETL and big data technologies
• Experience with health care claim data business knowledge
• Experience with payment model
• Knowledgeable on SDLC process
