- Development environments: Eclipse, IntelliJ, VS Code
- Advanced Web Services skills: SOAP, UDDI, XML, WSDL
- Databases: MemSql, MySQL, SQL Server, Postgresql
- Proficient with SQL query skills, SQL performance tuning & optimization, SQL Server stored procedures
Qualifications
- BS/MS in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or 8+ years of experience in a related field
- Strong communication skills (written & oral) with the ability to prepare clear and concise technical design, architecture specifications, and other written artifacts
- 6+ years of experience in development using Java/Spring Boot Micro Services
- 5+ years of strong SQL query skills, SQL performance tuning & optimization, and SQL Server stored procedures
- Experience building and knowledge of service-oriented architectures (SOA) and web services
- 1+ year of experience with cloud native development and familiarity with cloud technologies like AWS
- Experience with Jira, Git, Jenkins preferred
- Agile development environment preferred
- Hands-on experience in testing, debugging, and fixing issues
- Familiarity with producing conceptual prototypes to visualize & demonstrate key concepts and capabilities to stakeholders
- Able to drive and clearly communicate technology solution, design, and architecture framework
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate project deadlines
- Ability to work independently as a member of a virtual or geographically dispersed team

Responsibilities
- Perform optimization of website content and code
- Perform technical assessments of platform changes and enhancements
- Engage in production support research and resolution recommendations
- Execute application architecture by working closely with delivery teams to enable efficient and optimal use of our technology assets
- Ensure adherence to our IT strategy and guidelines
- Provide in-depth technical consultation to other developers, clients, business partners, and IT to ensure development of efficient application utilizing established standards, procedures, and methodologies
- Set aggressive and measurable goals and drive the team to deliver on those objectives
