The Informatica platforms Administrator is responsible for contributing to maintaining all IDMC, Informatica PowerCenter and PowerExchange, DataQuality, MDM platforms and ETL batch servers/environments and will lead an offshore team of admins in installations of hotfixes, EBFs, configurations, troubleshooting and performance tuning of the above mentioned Informatica platforms and environments along with regular daily production support activities (migrations, Change Requests, incidents, Problems, Demands and Request Items).

Required Skills and Experience:

•        5+ years of Working experience in Informatica Administration with Unix and Oracle DB

•        Strong hands-on installation/patching/troubleshooting of IDMC, Informatica platforms including power center, power exchanges, DataQuality and MDM

•        Ensure the scalability & performance of Informatica platforms meeting the client SLAs

•        Assist in Performance Tuning of ETL Processes to provide optimal performance. Set benchmark and performance tune all Informatica environments wherever required

•        Deep technical understanding of Informatica architecture, administration, installations, patching and production support activities.

•        Deep technical understanding of Linux and Windows OS and command line internals. Shell scripting knowledge and batch jobs troubleshooting skills.

•        Tuning and best practices (Informatica PowerCenter, DataQuality and MDM required up to 10.x).

•        Good knowledge of RDBMS systems (Oracle, DB2 and SQL Server) and ability to write SQL queries.

•        Review existing ETL Designs and recommend Tuning Improvements.

•        Work in onshore/offshore model and coordinate with the team as needed.
