JOB DETAIL

  • 10+ years’ experience on large-scale implementation programs
  • Experience building Data Lake in the Cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure)
  • Experience with Dimensional data modeling· Experience developing/deploying Enterprise scale Data solutions.
  • Experience with data ingestion, data transformation, data security, data consumption, data visualization in Cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure)
  • Experience with GCP Big Query, AtScale, Looker, Tableau
  • Experience with business-critical applications.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage strong subject matter expertise in Data Engineering and Data Consumption and recommend Architecture/Design
  • Work with business/IT stakeholders (Dir/VP) on architecture decisions and influencing change.
  • Ability to work with different teams like Platform, Cloud, Security, Architecture and ensuring business requirements and project deadlines are met.
  • Perform root cause analysis of performance issues identified by internal testing and from customers and suggest corrective actions.
  • Document program level design decisions & open items and share with key stakeholder.
  • Work with large number of developers (50 plus) and enforce Architecture and Design guidelines.
  • Conduct regular design reviews and recommend design changes while ensuring Architecture guidelines and NFRs (Data freshness & Performance) are met. Document/maintain/follow up on review comments.
  • Work closely with Company’s Enterprise Architecture team on guidelines and enforce with the team.
  • Create PowerPoints, Lucid diagrams, process flow for Architecture options and drive decision making.
  • Provide weekly status updates and key stakeholders are aware on progress/issues/risks. Send meetings notes, action.
  • Work very closely with IT Manager and align on deliverables/approach/timeline.
