Job Summary
Senior Architect to assesses/recommend the path forward architecturally with CTO.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for communications and coordination with key project stakeholders
- Challenge the status quo.
- Be critical but fair, and able to convince/influence with solid reasoning.
- Be able to quickly dilute current pain points and future requirements into a logical future solution, compare it with existing stack, and make recommendations.
- Bucket path forward into short-term tactical improvements, and long-term technology shifts (if needed).
- Manage the politics of existing tenured staff that are sensitive to their existing solutions being critiqued.
- Able to breakdown the recommendations into a future roadmap/plan and estimate/regulate delivery costs, and layout different technology stack options and licensing costs.
Qualifications
Mandatory
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders including third-party vendors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
- At least 3 years of development experience on Oracle SQL, MSSQL or PL/SQL
- Knowledgeable in Oracle Forms and Reports 6i
