- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the last 7 years as a Linux Administrator in a lead role including system specification planning, performance tuning, storage management, back-up, recovery and Linux clustering.
- Thirty (30) semester (45 quarter) units of completed, post high-school coursework from an accredited university or technical school in Computer Information Systems, Business/Public Administration, or a closely related field.
- Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Strong Linux Administration experience.

Job Responsibilities:
- Install, implement, test and maintain Linux Servers (RHEL).
- Installs, configures and patches for Linux Servers.
- Bash Programming.
- Basic Linux Administration of File Systems.
- Linux User Management.
- Linux Security, Network and Firewall management.
- Linux Licensing.
- Linux Troubleshooting for User Administration and File Permissions.
- Provide coverage for other Linux administrators as necessary.
- Disaster Recovery preparedness for Linux Servers by maintaining and tuning backup and recovery processes.
- Identify and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Ensure information security.
- Provide end-user support to technical and non-technical audiences.
