JOB DETAIL

  • Support, maintain, and enhance PeopleSoft HCM applications including but not limited to: Payroll, Accounting and Financials, and SCM Peoplesoft.
  • Review, analyze, and evaluate systems and user needs in order to formulate PeopleSoft solutions that address business strategies.
  • Participate in General Ledger, Asset Management, and Accounts Payable configuration.
  • Designs, develops and tests assigned modifications, interfaces, and reports based on functional requirements.
  • Responsible for development of any upgrades or changes to programs that assist with vendor integration.
  • Code complex/integrated customizations and/or solutions using PeopleTools and related technologies (SQRs, Application Engines, CI’s, PeopleCode, XML)
  • Manage processes for new jobs that will need to be tested and validated within PeopleSoft Financials.
  • Support and maintain PeopleSoft systems for project and operations support, with exposure to enhancement projects as conditions permit.
  • Develop basic to complex customizations/modifications to the PeopleSoft application, including online transactions (classic and Fluid), batch/interface processing, queries and reports, utilizing standard PeopleSoft development tools.
  • Reapply/retrofit customizations for PUM image updates and tax updates.
  • Perform unit testing activities to ensure working solutions for functional testing.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation for development activities and SDLC artifacts.

Technical Qualifications:

  • Hands-on development and implementation support of PeopleSoft HR and Financials Modules
  • Expertise in PeopleSoft HR 9.2-9.3 or newer versions
  • Expertise in PeopleSoft Financials 8.9 or newer versions
  • Experience computing in AIX/Linux
  • Oracle EPM Development
  • DB2 data modeling
  • Working experience using PeopleCode and PeopleTools
  • Microsoft SQL programming

Functional Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in PeopleSoft Development and software development
  • Excellent knowledge of the software development life cycle
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Knowledge of Object-Relational Mapping frameworks
