1. Oracle Database Proficiency:

• Solid knowledge of Oracle 19c and technical database concepts.
• Experience in designing, creating, and managing large, complex Oracle databases.

1. Cloud and On-Premise Expertise:

• Proficiency in database management on both on-premises and AWS cloud environments.
• Knowledge and experience with AWS or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

1. Automation and Scripting:

• Strong automation skills, including Ansible, Python, and Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IAC).

1. Data Modeling:

• Proficient in data modeling, including both physical and logical data modeling.

1. Database Performance Optimization:

• Expertise in Oracle performance analysis tools, such as ASH and AWR, for advanced tuning.
• Experience in reducing complexity and cost through automation.

1. Exadata Management:

• Expertise in managing and maintaining Oracle Exadata environments.

1. Database Migration and Upgrades:

• Experience in database consolidation, migrations, conversions, and upgrades.
• Facilitation of database migration from on-premises systems to the cloud.

1. Security and User Access:

• Control and monitor user access to databases and maintain database security.

1. Collaboration and Documentation:

• Collaborative work with application teams and cloud organizations.
• Maintenance of documentation for systems and standard operating procedures.

1. Mentoring and Education:

• Provide technical assistance and mentor junior team members.
• Educate and influence stakeholders to promote understanding and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
