Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related discipline and/or commensurate experience
8-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst
Experience communicating by phone and face-to-face with customers collecting requirements and implementation details and implementing solutions
Experience writing business requirements, functional specifications, wireframes, visual designs, mockups, and testing.
Excellent communication (written, verbal and listening) skills using MS Applications
Experience with software testing life cycle activities, fundamentals of test architecture, test design principles for black-box, grey-box and white-box testing
Experience with databases, ability to create, execute, and understand SQL queries & ETL tools.
The Technical Business Analyst facilitates and leads others in defining, developing and delivering IT and technology solutions through collaboration with leaders to gather and prioritize market and client requirements.
Will support the complete Solution Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including: discovery, planning, requirements gathering, specification documentation, testing, training, implementation and support.
This person will be responsible for:
Directing the business requirements gathering process by responsibly collecting, analyzing, reviewing, documenting, and communicating business needs to ensure the proposed solutions meet business requirements.
Testing system changes/enhancements related to assigned processes to ensure changes satisfy business requirements with no negative impact.
Collaborating with stakeholder teams to identify user requirements and recommend solution options.
Documenting work, including change requests and functional specifications, end user documentation, release notes, etc.
Facilitating meetings/task groups, tracks and influences task progress and tracks deliverables in order to effectively resolve customer and vendor issues.
Serving as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all phases of technology/application implementation.
