JOB DETAIL

5 + years of IT Disaster Recovery experience

8 + years of IT infrastructure operations experience

Familiarity of application SDLC

High level understanding of SQL and Oracle database (preferred)

 

 

Project Manager will assist with:

Disaster Recovery Runbook Documentation, Disaster Recovery Application Testing and Disaster Recovery Governance Assessment

Enhance the Disaster Recovery framework and improve resiliency within Tier 0 - 4 applications.

Review runbooks and recovery checklist for each application

Coordinate and facilitate interviews with application owners and infrastructure SMEs to identify and document the recovery processes that should be captured in run books.

Conduct reviews with stakeholders and finalize Tier 3 and tier 4 Runbooks.

Assess current state risks, impacts and gaps by application to be mitigated in target state design to meet RTO/RPO goals.

Work with application SME's and Stakeholders to optimize configurations to improve recovery and resiliency (i.e. Zerto implementation, scripting, leveraging DDI, etc.) and work with the RSI PM to manage the backlog of improvement opportunities.

Work with the existing Program Manager to manage and track the backlog of optimization and automation initiatives for DR by application.

Assist with DR tabletop and failover exercises - planning and testing.

Assist with DR Runbooks audit - review/update/approval.

Assist to set up process and controls to keep the DR process evergreen.

Explore, review, and recommend tools to evolve operational resiliency.

Track and report on the status of progress, priorities, issues and risks to stakeholders and the Oversight Committee
