- Develop test Automation script in Python.
- Execution of tests, Review and\or validate fixes and defect tracking in JIRA.
- Verification of software, Firmware and hardware interoperability for supported platforms.
- Review and refactor existing tests/test scripts and provide suggestions to improve the quality and efficiency of the test.
- Communicate test results and highlight potential quality risks.
- Ensure test design is traceable to requirements, user stories or existing manual tests and achieves a high level of requirement/test coverage.
- Perform Root cause analysis for Beta or production defects.
Background and Skills: The ideal candidate will have.
Domain (Preferred Industry) – Retail Point of Sale and/or Retail Petroleum/Dispensers
- Experience in design and implementation of validation procedures, test plans, and test cases.
- Experience in writing test automation scripts.
- Experience in Python and Selenium is a must .
- Experience in developing, writing and managing the execution of an overall software test strategy
- Experience in Test/Defect Management Tools – Preferred – JIRA, Zephyr
- Experience working as part of an agile SCRUM project team
- Good computer skills (Windows, Excel, Outlook, etc)
