JOB DETAIL

• Experience serving as a system administrator in Salesforce Lightning.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum project methodology.
• Strong self-motivation, multitasking skills and the ability to work independently in an
unstructured environment.
• Excellent written, verbal communication, public speaking and presentation skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated track record of performing Salesforce administrative tasks including
creating custom objects, fields, workflow and validation rules, page layouts, list views,
reports, dashboards, email templates and Lightning app pages.
• Demonstrated ability to gather user requirements and transform them into system
requirements with a strong attention to detail.
• Experience administering the Service and Sales Clouds in a work environment.
• Experience using Salesforce Data Loader, Import Wizard and Workbench.
• Ability to complete tasks on tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read, write and edit Salesforce object query language (SOQL) queries.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications – especially Excel.

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day support and advise end users on how to use Salesforce effectively.
• Assist with training internal staff on Salesforce administration and development.
• Perform user set up and maintain user roles, security and profiles in Salesforce Lightning.
• Monitor and report on issues, system configuration and maintenance processes.
• Insert, upsert, update and delete select data using Salesforce ETL tools.
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards according to user and project requirements.
• Create custom objects, fields, workflow and validation rules, list views and page layouts
according to project timelines.
• Create declarative flows and process builders for end user needs.
• Proactively gather feedback and requirements from users and identify system changes.
• Attend vendor meetings and keep detailed notes on meeting discussions.
• Work closely with internal project team to record and monitor adoption and usage.
• Assist in the creation of organization-wide protocols for proper use of Salesforce.
• Work with internal team to maintain integrations with on-site and cloud-based platforms.
• Work with vendors to troubleshoot and apply new features, upgrades and patches.
• Maintain system security including sharing rules, role hierarchies and field-level security.

Additional preferred skills:

• Experience using Flosum for Salesforce release management
• Experience in information technology or computer science is a plus
• Advanced Salesforce administrator, platform app builder or platform developer
certification is a plus
• Experience with APEX, HTML, SQL, Java or JavaScript is a plus
• Experience working with AS400 or other enterprise level platforms is a plus
