Data Quality Analyst. The position will report to EIM Lead and will support the team in an analyst capacity and in establishment and ongoing operations of the Data Quality COE. The successful candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills while being able work independently to achieve timely results and while working collaboratively on an agile product team. Must also possess a strong customer orientation along with a delivery execution mindset and willingness to learn and grow in this role.

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Management, Technology, or related field (or equivalent years of training, work experience and education)
  • Familiarity with data quality tools, data profiling, and data cleansing techniques
  • Familiarity with data quality tools and frameworks
  • Knowledge of data governance principles and practices
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify data quality issues
  • Proficiency in SQL, data transformation, and scripting languages
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data accuracy and consistency
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Experience working with SAP MDG HubData Quality Management (DQM) tool
  • Experience with PowerBI, SAP SAC, or other similar visualization platforms in addition to DQM
  • Certification in data quality management or related field
  • Exposure to MS Azure DevOps and understanding of Agile Methods
  • Exposure to Lean Framework

Responsibilities:

  • Manage data quality services and capabilities within the Data Quality COE to support Data Owners and Data Stewards:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and data quality expectations
  • Develop and implement data quality standards, policies, and procedures to maintain data integrity and consistency
  • Design and implement data quality monitoring processes to track data quality metrics
  • Facilitate data cleansing activities with Data Owners and Data Stewards to correct and standardize data records and to ensure data quality compliance
  • Provide recommendations for data improvements and remediation strategies
  • Develop and maintain data quality documentation, including data quality profiles, data dictionaries, and data quality reports
  • Provide training and guidance to users on data quality best practices and data cleansing techniques
  • Utilize data profiling tools and techniques to assess data quality and identify anomalies
  • Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to integrate data quality checks into data pipelines and workflows
  • Managing delivery of SAP Master Data Quality Management Rules through Product Team and Agile Ceremonies:
  • Work with MDG Data Stewards with gathering data quality rules requirements and articulating into user requirements
  • Conduct Agile ceremonies of Backlog Refinement, sprint planning and weekly standups
  • Collaborate with MDG team in delivery of DQM rules to production
  • Bring DQM KPI’s for master data objects and incorporate management and process improvements based on KPIs
