The requirement is for a Data Architect to develop and implement an overall organizational data strategy aligned with business processes. Candidate should be able to design and manage centralized, end-to-end data architecture solutions including Data model designs, Database development standards and Implementation and management of data warehouses. Candidate should have experience in creating frameworks to track data assets and their flow, dictate their usage, and store and integration.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve company data.
- Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming.
- Assess database implementation procedures to ensure they comply with internal and external regulations.
- Documents an organization's data assets, maps how data flows through its systems and provides a blueprint for managing data.
- Prepare accurate database design and architecture reports for management and executive teams.
- Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions.
- Monitor the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new features.
- Recommend solutions to improve new and existing database systems.
- Monitoring system health, defining relevant KPIs, and suggesting solutions to enhance the current framework.
- Educate staff members through training and individual support.
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or relevant field.
Required Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of database structure systems and data mining.
- Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
