JOB DETAIL

  • Some experience with Windows Server administration and support.  
  • This would include candidates who has some experience as Systems Engineer or Admin. 
  • Worked with installing configuring, supporting IIS Web servers including migration to Azure Web Apps.
  • Understands Computer Networks, and Virtual Private Networks.
  • Familiar with SQL Server and databases in general.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services is a must.
  • Candidate should have experience and be proficient in cloud migrations.
  • AWS/GCP is a nice to have.

DevOps Experience:

  • Knowledge of Git Repos and how it works, best practices etc.
  • Work Item Tracking tools like Azure Boards and Jira
  • Experience with one or more CI/CD tools such as Octopus Deploy, TeamCity, Jenkins, Ansible or Azure Pipelines.
  • Direct experience with DevOps in Azure preferred.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of PowerShell.
  • Working knowledge of SQL query language preferred.
  • Has worked with a centralized job scheduling tool.
  • Has some experience with production support.
  • Experience with Azure SQL Database, and other DB as a service tool.
  • Experience with Azure Kubernetes service is a nice to have.
  • Experience with automated testing solutions for unit testing, integration testing and system testing
  • Experience with Change Management and performing application changes to production systems.
  • Experience building cloud-based infrastructure solutions in Azure with a strong governance model knowledge.

General Candidate traits:

  • BS in Computer Science or Equivalent work experience.
  • Good problem-solving skills with experience identifying and escalating issues.
  • Ability to identify, prioritize, and escalate issues appropriately
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with team members
  • Motivated; requiring little instruction or guidance from their direct manager.
  • Lead team projects and initiatives from inception to rollout - managing deliverables and dependencies while communicating timelines and expectations to stakeholders
  • Solid customer service and organizational skills
