Required
• At least 7 years of experience writing complex SQL, PL/SQL queries.
• At least 5 years of experience working with users in requirements gathering, developing and implementing analytics solutions and developing documentation.
• At least 5 years of development experience with at least one of the following technologies: Tableau Desktop, IBM Cognos.
• At least 5 years of Tableau Server management.
• Experience with Python, R or similar data analysis tool.
• Experience with Atlassian JIRA for requirements management and bug tracking.
• Experience with visual analytics design.
• Experience with text analytics.
• 2 or more years of experience working in higher education.
• Solid understanding of database, data warehousing and ETL/ELT concepts.
• Has excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
Preferred
• Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence.
• Familiarity with UCOP and IRAP policies, procedures, data systems and IT infrastructure.
• Advanced degree in related field.
