At least total 5 year experience in Application or Production Support/SRE or equivalent experience in other roles like Application Development in SDLC processes
Working knowledge in one or more general purpose programming languages, plus an interest in learning other coding languages and skills as needed
Mindset to fix problems with automation, tooling and fixes in code level based on requirements.
Working knowledge of development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improves software
Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
Unix (prefer Redhat Linux), Oracle, Java knowledge at intermediate to advanced level
Able to work on issues independently and communicate to management and required stakeholders, both internal and external
Able to write and analyze complex SQL queries and script in various languages such as Python, Bash, Perl, Ksh
Understand complex process flows and trouble shoot issues with partners like Development team and Infrastructure team
Exposure to newer technologies such as Kafka, Micro services, Cassandra is preferred
Exposure to Job Monitoring/Scheduling tools such as Control-M or Autosys preferred
Experience with DevOps tools, AWS or other Cloud technologies is preferred
Understanding of data security and controls
Financial services industry/ tech experience is a plus
Ability to work outside of normal hours including participating in a changing/rotational on-call schedule that includes weekends and holidays (as per business needs) is required
