Responsibilities:
- Managing a number of assigned servers and applications, backup on other servers and applications
- Standard trouble shooting procedures for hardware and software problems
- Software maintenance
- Configuration documents
- Scheduled 24/7 on-call support
- Technical diagrams (server environments, relationship diagrams, workflows, etc.)
The successful candidate will become a member of the Distributed Systems group within the Information Technology Department. The candidate’s primary responsibility will be to manage the AIX server infrastructure as part of a team of 6 AIX administrators. Work will primarily be remote, with the ability to come into the office or data center on occasion as required. Interviewing will begin at once.
