Briefly describe the duties and responsibilities

Responsibilities

Develop solutions to solve large scale system reliability problems in both software and infrastructure; Enhance observability tooling; Automate system reliability tooling; Scale product and tooling solutions

Qualifications

Deep understanding of observability engineering principles and tooling; Expertise in OpenTelemetry; Expertise in large distributed systems scaling and fault tolerance practices; Expertise in networking; Expertise in AWS services (Cloudfront, RDS, Dynamo, ECS, EKS, Lambda, FIS, Kinesis, etc.); Hands on experience with modern DevOps tooling (Cloudformation, Github actions, terraform, etc); Versatile in programing languages - Node.js, Typescript, Angular, Java, Python, Shell; Expertise in reliability engineering practices - loose coupling, fault tolerant practices, performance and chaos engineering practices, profiling, etc.
