JOB DETAIL
This is an 100% Onsite
84 months experience in all phases of Functional Testing. Qualifying activities include such items as: - analyzing and interpreting business requirement documents (BRDs) and use cases in unified modeling language (UML) for testability and inconsistencies - participation in Joint Application Development sessions, seeking clarification from business analysts as needed - documenting and implementing application test plans - identifying test cases - writing and executing test scripts - identifying and analyzing application problems and the communication of such to development team.
84 months experience with HP Quality Center/Microfocus Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) for testing.
84 months experience with HP Quick Test Professional (QTP) and HP/Microfocus Unified Functional Testing (UFT) for developing and maintaining automated scripts used to do regression testing.
84 months experience working on a web-based, large, complex, and diverse Human Services (Federal, State, or local government) delivery system consisting of more than 100 Screens and more than 100 cross edits. Specifically: planning, designing, developing, and executing test strategies based on software specifications.
36 months experience as providing direction and training to other members of the project and user acceptance team.
48 months experience using SQL Navigator or other industry-standard tool to query SQL databases for collection and verification of test cases and data.
48 months experience with HP LoadRunner (or Performance Center) used for load and performance testing.

Duties
This position will perform software testing on new, enhanced, and fixed Child Support application features before the updated software packages are released.
Responsibilities include writing test plans; designing and developing manual and automated test scripts based on analysis of software specifications; the execution of manual and automated tests for new application functions, defects, and application regression testing; maintaining test cases and ensuring manual tests are migrated into the automated testing tool.
The position will also participate in business requirements gathering sessions, the creation of test data and performance testing tasks for the application.
Testing may also include application code, middleware code, templates, and database tables. The position may also include training and mentoring new members of the project team.
Will also provide troubleshooting and end-user support/problem resolution when necessary.
