About the Team

• Team supports retail pharmacy business - focused on analytics, business requirements etc.
• Personalization for engagements (i.e.) texts your get from Client about prescriptions — those come from her team
• Work w data science to ID patients, channels, content for msgs, conversational AI so they have unique responses - working with chat GPT, open AI, etc.
• Having a hard time finding people who want to come to cvs to do that type of work
• Lacking internal expertise in this area

Senior Data Engineer:

• Does not need AI
• MUST HAVE micro services
• Must have built APIs
• Working w Kubernetes
• This is not someone who has built websites - they need someone w/ backend micro services)
• Experience working with data and backend services
• Kafka
• Software Eng
• Might be a range of titles

Cloud Tech Stack:

• 6 years of experience - let's try to stay in that range.. 4-10 max
• Working on Azure but any cloud is transferrabl
• No certifications needed
• SQL/Python - using mostly for data transformation, building business logic into rules
• Need Java
• Advanced algorithmic problem solving is helpful but not core responsibilities
• Translate business logic into code
• Developing and building out data pipelines
• Snowflake -not super important - easy to learn if you have other skillsets
