API Testing:
- Conduct thorough testing of RESTful APIs using Postman or similar tools.
- Validate responses, status codes, and API performance.
- Develop and maintain test suites for API endpoints.
Database Testing:
- Perform database testing with a focus on MongoDB and SQL Server.
- Validate data integrity, data formats, and query outputs.
- Write and execute complex SQL queries for test validation.
Kafka Experience:
- Monitor and test Kafka topics to ensure smooth data flow.
- Use KPow or similar tools for Kafka cluster management and topic inspection.
- Troubleshoot and analyze issues related to message queuing and streaming.
- eCommerce Architecture Understanding:
- Test and validate various components of eCommerce platforms.
- Ensure the scalability and security of eCommerce architectures.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand and test new features.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with development teams to understand requirements and create effective test plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and provide feedback on product quality.
- Proven experience in API and DB testing.
- Proficiency in using tools like Postman for API testing.
- Strong understanding of MongoDB and SQL Server databases.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka topics and tools like KPow.
- Familiarity with eCommerce architecture and systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience. Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
